Light, Shadow, and Sacred Beginnings

The Genesis Diptych is a meditation on creation, exploring the tension and harmony of light and shadow. Through abstract forms, Alessia Sersanti reimagines the universe’s first breath as both brilliance and stillness.

The Ceremony of First Light bursts with luminous reds, pinks, and golds, capturing the spark of genesis. Its companion, Ritual of Light and Shadow, offers a grounding counterbalance, where earthen tones cradle the light, reminding us that light exists only through shadow, and contrast is not conflict but completion.
